| Careering like a lover weak in aim | D |
| I hear faint music in the solitudes | B |
| A dreamlike melody that whispers peace | B |
| Imbues the calmy forest and sweet rills | B |
| Of pensive feeling murmur through my brain | E |

| That slumber in the moonlight Cease oh cease | B |
