Sonnet: - Iii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDEDBDFBBF| Oh holy sabbath morn thrice blessed day | A |
| Of solemn rest true peace and earnest prayer | B |
| How many hearts that never knelt to pray | A |
| Are glad to breathe thy soul sustaining air | B |
| I sit within the quiet woods and hear | C |
| The village church bell's soft inviting sound | D |
| And to the confines of the loftiest sphere | E |
| Imagination wings its airy round | D |
| A myriad spirits have assembled there | B |
| Whose prayers on earth a sweet acceptance found | D |
| I go to worship in Thy House O God | F |
| With her thy young creation bright and fair | B |
| Help us to do Thy will and not despair | B |
| Though both our hearts should bend beneath Thy chastening rod | F |
