Night And Morning Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH JKLK

The winds are piping loud to nightA
And the waves roll strong and highB
God pity the watchful marinerC
Who toils 'neath yonder skyB
-
I saw the vessel speed awayD
With a free majestic sweepE
At evening as the sun went downF
To his palace in the deepE
-
An aged crone sat on the beachG
And pointing to the shipH
She'll never return again she saidI
With a scorn upon her lipH
-
-
-
The morning rose tempestuousJ
The winds blew to the shoreK
There were corpses on the sands that mornL
But the ship came nevermoreK
