Hopeless Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFG CHIJKLMB

I think through the long long eveningsA
Such thoughts of intensest painB
And I hope and watch for her comingC
But I hope and watch in vainB
My life is a long long journeyD
Over a barren moorE
With nought but my own dark shadowF
Hastening on beforeG
-
I'm weary of all this watchingC
Aweary of life and thoughtH
For there's little hope in the distanceI
And for peace I know it notJ
Oh why must we think and shudderK
And shudder and think againL
When life's but a dance of shadowsM
Haunting a barren plainB
