Crowned Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDEED AEAEFGAAH IBIBCDEED

Her thoughts are sweet glimpses of heavenA
Her life is that heaven brought downB
Oh never to mortal was givenA
So rare and bejewelled a crownB
I'll wear it as saints wear the gloryC
That radiantly clasps them aboveD
Oh dower most fairE
Oh diadem rareE
Bright crown of her maidenly loveD
-
My heart is a fane of devotionA
My feelings are converts at prayerE
And every thrill of emotionA
Makes dearer the crown I would wearE
My soul in its fulness of raptureF
Begins its millennial reignG
Life glows like a sunA
Love's zenith is wonA
And Joy is sole monarch againH
-
My noonday of life is as morningI
God's light streams approvingly downB
Uncovered I wait her adorningI
She comes with the beautiful crownB
I'll wear it as saints wear the gloryC
That radiantly clasps them aboveD
Oh dower most fairE
Oh diadem rareE
Bright crown of her maidenly loveD
