Parental Recollections Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIJ

A child's a plaything for an hourA
Its pretty tricks we tryB
For that or for a longer spaceC
Then tire and lay it byB
-
-
But I knew one that to itselfD
All seasons could controlE
That would have mocked the sense of painF
Out of a griev d soulE
-
-
Thou straggler into loving armsG
Young climber up of kneesH
When I forget thy thousand waysI
Then life and all shall ceaseJ
