The Lost Doll Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABACAC ACACABAB

I once had a sweet little doll dearsA
The prettiest doll in the worldB
Her cheeks were so red and white dearsA
And her hair was so charmingly curledB
But I lost my poor little doll dearsA
As I played in the heath one dayC
And I cried for her more than a week dearsA
But I never could find where she layC
-
I found my poor little doll dearsA
As I played in the heath one dayC
Folks say she is terribly changed dearsA
For her paint is all washed awayC
And her arms trodden off by the cows dearsA
And her hair not the least bit curledB
Yet for old sakes' sake she is still dearsA
The prettiest doll in the worldB
