March Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEAE

THE EARTH seems a desolate motherA
Betrayed like the princess of oldB
The ermine stripped from her shouldersC
And her bosom all naked and coldB
-
But a joy looks out from her sadnessD
For she feels with a glad unrestE
The throb of the unborn summerA
Under her bare brown breastE
