I can see myself nowA
after all these suicide days and nightsB
being wheeled out of one of those sterile rest homesC
of course this is only if I get famous and luckyD
by a subnormal and bored nurseE
there I am sitting upright in my wheelchairF
almost blind eyes rolling backward into the dark part of my skullG
lookingH
for the mercy of deathI
Isn't it a lovely day Mr BukowskiD
O yeah yeahJ
the children walk past and I don't even existK
and lovely women walk byL
with big hot hipsM
and warm buttocks and tight hot everythingH
praying to be lovedN
and I don't evenO
existK
It's the first sunlight we've had in daysP
Mr BukowskiD
Oh yeah yeahJ
there I am sitting upright in my wheelchairF
myself whiter than this sheet of paperQ
bloodlessR
brain gone gamble gone me BukowskiD
goneS
Isn't it a lovely day Mr BukowskiD
O yeah yeah pissing in my pajamas slop drooling out ofT
my mouthU
young schoolboys run byL
Hey did you see that old guyL
Christ yes he made me sickV
after all the threats to do soW
somebody else has committed suicide for meD
at lastX
the nurse stops the wheelchair breaks a rose from a nearby bushY
puts it in my handZ
I don't even knowW
what it is it might as well be my peckerQ
for all the goodA2
it doesB2
