Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIDEIGIJ KLEDMN ODIP QRN SFN

I read that he lost a suitcase full of manuscripts on aA
train and that they never were recoveredB
I can't match the agony of thisC
but the other night I wrote a page poemD
upon this computerE
and through my lack of diligence andF
practiceG
and by playing around with commandsH
on the menuI
I somehow managed to erase the poemD
foreverE
believe me such a thing is difficult to doI
even for a noviceG
but I somehow managed to doI
itJ
-
now I don't think this pager was immortalK
but there were some crazy wild linesL
now gone foreverE
it bothers more than a touch it's someD
thing like knocking over a good bottle ofM
wineN
-
and writing about it hardly makes a goodO
poemD
still I thought somehow you'd like toI
knowP
-
if not at least you've read this farQ
and there could be better workR
down the lineN
-
let's hope so for your sakeS
