| I saw it on the tv news that final curtain | D |
| flowers cheers tears a thunderous | E |

| I have not seen this particular musical | G |
| but I know if I had that I wouldn't have | B |
| been able to bear it it would have | B |
| sickened me | H |
| trust me on this the world and its | I |
| peoples and its artful entertainment has | J |
| done very little for me only to me | H |
| still let them enjoy one another it will | K |
| keep them from my door | L |
| and for this my own thunderous | E |
