Travelling Bohemians Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGE HIF JKF F L

The prophetic tribe of the ardent eyesA
Yesterday they took the road holding their babiesB
On their backs delivering to fierce appetitesC
The always ready treasure of pendulous breastsD
-
The men stick their feet out waving their gunsE
Alongside the caravan where they tremble togetherF
Scanning the sky their eyes are weighted downG
In mourning for absent chimerasE
-
At the bottom of his sandy retreat a cricketH
Watched passing redoubles his songI
Cybele who loves adds more flowerF
-
Makes fountains out of rock and blossoms from desertJ
Opening up before these travelers in a yawn mdashK
A familiar empire the inscrutable futureF
