The Two Good Sisters Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCE BFF GHH

Debauch and Death are a fine healthy pairA
Of girls whose love is prodigal and freeB
Their virgin wombs beneath the rags they wearA
Are barren though they labour constantlyB
-
To the arch poet foe of familiesC
Hell's favourite a cut rate whore at courtD
Brothels and tombs show in dark galleriesC
A bed never frequented by remorseE
-
And coffin alcove rich in blasphemyB
As two good sisters would offer as treatsF
Terrible pleasures horrifying sweetsF
-
Debauch when will your clutches bury me a rivalG
Death will you be coming nowH
To graft black cypress to her myrtle boughH
