Monologue Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEDF GHI HJJ

You are a lovely autumn sky rose clearA
But sadness is flowing in me like the seaB
And leaves on my sullen lip as it disappearsC
of its bitter slime the painful memoryB
-
-
Your hand glides over my numb breast in vainD
what it seeks dear friend is a place made rawE
by woman's ferocious fang and claw refrainD
seek this heart the wild beasts tear no moreF
-
-
My heart is a palace defiled by the rabbleG
they drink and murder and clutch each other's hairH
About your naked throat a perfume hoversI
-
-
O Beauty harsh scourge of souls this is your careH
With your eyes of fire dazzling as at our feastsJ
Burn these scraps to ashes spared by the beastsJ
