I Give To You These Verses Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBC DEFD GHG IIH

I give to you these verses that if inA
Some future time my name lands happilyB
To bring brief pleasure to humanityB
The craft supported by a great north windC
-
Your memory like tales from ancient timesD
Will bore the reader like a dulcimerE
And by a strange fraternal chain live hereF
As if suspended in my lofty rhymesD
-
From deepest pit into the highest skyG
Damned being only I can bear you nowH
shadow barely present to the eyeG
-
You lightly step with a serene regardI
On mortal fools who've judged you mean and hardI
Angel with eyes of jet great burnished browH
