Far Away From Here Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAABBBCBDEBEEB

This is the sanctuaryA
where the prettified young ladyA
calm and always readyA
fans her breasts aglowB
elbow on the pillowB
hears the fountain s flowB
it s the room of DorotheaC
The breeze and water distantlyB
sing their song mingled hereD
with sobs to soothe the spoiled child s fearE
From tip to toe most thoroughlyB
her delicate surfaces appearE
oiled with sweet perfumeryE
the flowers nearby swoon gracefullyB
