Beauty Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFE FGG

Am as lovely as a dream in stoneA
And this my heart where each finds death in turnB
Inspires the poet with a love as loneA
As clay eternal and as taciturnB
-
Swan white of heart a sphinx no mortal knowsC
My throne is in the heaven's azure deepD
I hate all movements that disturb my poseC
I smile not ever neither do I weepD
-
Before my monumental attitudesE
That breathe a soul into the plastic artsF
My poets pray in austere studious moodsE
-
For I to fold enchantment round their heartsF
Have pools of light where beauty flames and diesG
The placid mirrors of my luminous eyesG
