| Little brother hold fast to my hand | D |

| Oh what was that sister The thunder | C |
| Did the shag bring the storm and the cloud | F |
| The wind and the rain and the lightning | B |
| Little brother the thunder roars loud | F |

| Run fast for the rain sweeps the ocean | G |

| And the lightning leaps red and above us | I |
| The gulls fill the air with their screams | H |
