The Cold Change Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDEFGFHII

In the cold change which time hath wrought on loveA
The snowy winter of his summer primeB
Should a chance sigh or sudden tear drop moveC
Thy heart to memory of the olden timeB
Turn not to gaze on me with pitying eyesD
Nor mock me with a withered hope renewedE
But from the bower we both have loved ariseD
And leave me to my barren solitudeE
What boots it that a momentary flameF
Shoots from the ashes of a dying fireG
We gaze upon the hearth from whence it cameF
And know the exhausted embers must expireH
Therefore no pity or my heart will breakI
Be cold be careless for thy past love's sakeI
