Sonnet Xiii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCBCDEDEFGFGHH

THE WEAVERA
-
LITTLE they think the giddy and the vainB
Wandering at pleasure 'neath the shady treesC
While the light glossy silk or rustling trainB
Shines in the sun or flutters in the breezeC
How the sick weaver plies the incessant loomD
Crossing in silence the perplexing threadE
Pent in the confines of one narrow roomD
Where droops complainingly his cheerless headE
Little they think with what dull anxious eyesF
Nor by what nerveless thin and trembling handsG
The devious mingling of those various dyesF
Were wrought to answer Luxury's commandsG
But the day cometh when the tired shall restH
Where weary Lazarus leans his head on Abraham's breastH
