Sonnet X Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCBCDEDFGHGHII

TO TAGLIONIA
-
SPIRIT of Grace whose airy footsteps fallB
So lightly sure the looker on must beC
Most dull of fancy who doth not recallB
Some sweet comparison to picture theeC
The white snow drifing in its soundless showersD
The young bird resting on a summer boughE
The south wind bending down the opening flowersD
The clear wave lifted with a gentle flowF
Rippling and bright advancing and retreatingG
Curling around the rock its dancing sprayH
Like a fair child whose kiss of gentle greetingG
Woos a companion to make holidayH
Such are the thoughts of beauty round me shedI
While pleased my eyes pursue thy light elastic treadI
