Sonnet Vi Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGGWHERE the red wine cup floweth there art thou | A |
Where luxury curtains out the evening sky | B |
Triumphant Mirth sits flush'd upon thy brow | A |
And ready laughter lurks within thine eye | B |
Where the long day declineth lone I sit | C |
In idle thought my listless hands entwined | D |
And faintly smiling at remember'd wit | C |
Act the scene over to my musing mind | D |
In my lone dreams I hear thy eloquent voice | E |
I see the pleased attention of the throng | F |
And bid my spirit in thy joy rejoice | E |
Lest in love's selshness I do thee wrong | F |
Ah midst that proud and mirthful company | G |
Send'st thou no wandering thought to love and me | G |
