My Childhood's Home Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABACACDEFE GHGHIBIBJEKE

I HAVE tasted each varied pleasureA
And drunk of the cup of delightB
I have danced to the gayest measureA
In the halls of dazzling lightB
I have dwelt in a blaze of splendourA
And stood in the courts of kingsC
I have snatched at each toy that could renderA
More rapid the flight of Time's wingsC
But vainly I've sought for joy or peaceD
In that life of light and shadeE
And I turn with a sigh to my own dear homeF
The home where my childhood playedE
-
When jewels are sparkling round meG
And dazzling with their raysH
I weep for the ties that bound meG
In life's first early daysH
I sigh for one of the sunny hoursI
Ere day was turned to nightB
For one of my nosegays of fresh wild flowersI
Instead of those jewels brightB
I weep when I gaze on the scentless budsJ
Which never can bloom or fadeE
And I turn with a sigh to those gay green fieldsK
The home where my childhood playedE
