Ifs Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFEF GHGHIJIJ KLKLMNMN

OH if the winds could whisper what they hearA
When murmuring round at sunset through the groveB
If words were written on the streamlet clearC
So often spoken fearlessly aboveD
If tell tale stars descending from on highE
Could image forth the thoughts of all that gazeF
Entranced upon that deep cerulean skyE
And count how few think only of their raysF
-
If the lulled heaving ocean could discloseG
All that has passed upon her golden sandH
When the moon lighted waves triumphant roseG
And dashed their spray upon the echoing strandH
If dews could tell how many tears have mixedI
With the bright gem like drops that Nature weepsJ
If night could say how many eyes are fixedI
On her dark shadows while creation sleepsJ
-
If echo rising from her magic throneK
Repeated with her melody of voiceL
Each timid sigh each whispered word and toneK
Which made the hearer's listening heart rejoiceL
If Nature could unchecked repeat aloudM
All she hath heard and seen must hear and seeN
Where would the whispering vowing sighing crowdM
Of lovers and their blushing partners beN
