Spring Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFG HIJK LMNO

How many sticky buds candle endsA
sprout from the branches SteamingB
April Puberty sweats from the parkC
and the forest s blatantly gleamingB
-
A noose of feathered throats gripsD
the wood s larynx a lassoed steerE
netted like a gladiatorial organF
it groans steel piped sonatas hereG
-
Poetry Be a Greek sponge with suckersH
among green stickiness drenchedI
I ll consent by the sopping woodJ
of a green stained garden benchK
-
Grow sumptuous pleats and flouncesL
suck up the gullies and cloudsM
Poetry tonight I ll squeeze you outN
to make the parched sheets flowerO
