Here A Riddle Has Drawn A Strange Nailmark Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFG HIDI

Here a riddle has drawn a strange nailmark To sleep nowA
I'll reread understand with the light of the sunB
But until I am wakened to touch the belovedC
As I do has been given to noneB
-
How I touched you So touched were you even by the copperD
Of my lips as an audience is touched by a playE
And the kiss was like summer it lingered and lingeredF
Only later the thunderstorm cameG
-
And I drank in long draughts like the birds half unconsciousH
The stars trickle slowly through the throat to the cropI
While the nightingales roll up their eyes in a shudderD
From the firmament draining the night drop by dropI
