Definition Of Poetry Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAA CDEF GAHI AAHA

It's a whistle blown ripe in a triceA
It's the cracking of ice in a galeB
It's a night that turns green leaves to iceA
It's a duel of two nightingalesA
-
It is sweet peas run gloriously wildC
It's the world's twinking tears in the podD
It is Figaro like hot hail hurledE
From the flutes on the wet flower bedF
-
It is all that the night hopes to findG
On the bottom of deep bathing poolsA
It's the star carried to the fish pondH
In your hands wet and trembling and coolI
-
This close air is as flat as the boardsA
In the pond The sky's flat on its faceA
It would be fun if these stars guffawedH
But the universe is a dull placeA
