Craft Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE DGHG FIFI DFJF

When having finished I shall move my armchairA
The page will gasp awakened from the strainB
Delirious she is half asleep at presentC
Obedient to suspense and to the rainB
-
The heaviness of burnt out ships has numbed herD
Prostrated weighted down her senseless formE
You cannot dupe this one by false pretencesF
It is the poet who will keep her warmE
-
I told her at an hour its secret shudderD
Vouchsafed by fancy when the winter willG
Light up green screeching ice fed up with waitingH
Behind an office worker's window sillG
-
And clocks in banks and other public placesF
While drinking in the snow and outside's darkI
Will suddenly jump up and strike their facesF
Crossed by the clockhands at the 'seven' markI
-
At such a deep at such a fateful hourD
I made the page wake up and take her chanceF
To put on hood and scarf and venture out toJ
Descendants strangers shaking off her tranceF
