| Of attics with no frills or curtains | K |

| And full of substance weighty certain | L |

| And I went bad when rot defaced | M |
| Our time and life became infested | N |
| When grief was censured as disgrace | K |
| And all played optimists and yes men | O |

| My faith in those who seemed my friends | K |
| Was broken and our ties were sundered | N |
| I too lost Man the Human since | K |
| He had been lost by all and sundry | P |
