A Dream Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGF HICI JKLM

I dreamt of autumn in the window's twilightA
And you a tipsy jesters' throng amidst 'B
And like a falcon having stooped to slaughterC
My heart returned to settle on your wristD
-
But time went on grew old and deaf Like thawingE
Soft ice old silk decayed on easy chairsF
A bloated sunset from the garden paintedG
The glass with bloody red September tearsF
-
But time grew old and deaf And you the loud oneH
Quite suddenly were still This broke a spellI
The dreaming ceased at once as though in answerC
To an abruptly silenced bellI
-
And I awakened Dismal as the autumnJ
The dawn was dark A stronger wind aroseK
To chase the racing birchtrees on the skylineL
As from a running cart the streams of strawsM
