His And Her Daughter/son Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFG HIIDI

I plead with you not to shame refusing being called an orphan all because you have lost your dear mother and father to a part of the universe you are yet to belongA
Have you not a soulB
Have you not a heart that still strives to love regardless of the countless times it has been shatteredC
Of what do you lack to earn such a priceless labelD
-
I kneel before you to not let the world excavate you from your human tribe because of the love you feel is lostE
Why accapt a tag to a place where you will be taken advantage ofF
Do they wish to torture you because you have no one to run toG
-
I pray you do not grow numb to such disrespectH
Dear His And Her Daughter Or SonI
You are not an orphanI
Let's rule the world and forbid this priceless labelD
You are not an orphanI

Poet's note: All the children who have lost their mothers and fathers and feel cannot go on because they are called "orphans". It's not the end of the world you parents are not gone but they are there dancing to the beat of your heart. Don't end it for that will break them too
