is exactly what's happeningE

I like the idea of differentH

theres and elsewheres an Idaho known for bluegrassF
a Bronx where people talkI
like violets smell Perhaps I am somewhere patient somehowJ
kind perhaps in the nookK

of a cousin universe I've never defiled or betrayedL
anyone Here I haveM
two hands and they are vanishing the hollow of your backN
to rest my cheek againstO

your voice and little else but my assiduous fear to cherishC
My hands are webbedP
like the wind torn work of a spider like they squeezedQ
something in the wombR

but couldn't hang on One of those other worldsF
or a life I feltS
passing through mine or the ocean inside my mother's bellyT
she had to scream outU

Here when I say I never want to be without youV
somewhere else I am sayingE
I never want to be without you again And when I touch youV
in each of the places we meetW

in all of the lives we are it's with hands that are dyingE
and resurrectedX
When I don't touch you it's a mistake in any lifeY
in each place and foreverZ
