The Princess Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBC AABBC AABBC

The princess looked down from her bower highA
The youth blew his horn as he lingered therebyA
Be quiet O youth will forever you blowB
It hinders my thoughts that would far away goB
Now when sets the sunC
-
The princess looked down from her bower highA
The youth ceased his blowing his horn he laid byA
Why are you so quiet Now more shall you blowB
It lifts all my thoughts that would far away goB
Now when sets the sunC
-
The princess looked down from her bower highA
The youth blew again as he lingered therebyA
Then weeping she whispered O God let me knowB
The name of this sorrow that burdens me soB
Now has set the sunC
