Song Of Freedom To Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDD EEFFGGHH IIJJKKLL JJMMNONNC

Freedom's father power strongA
Freedom's mother wrath and songA
Giant stout a youth self taughtB
Soon a giant's work he wroughtB
Ever he full of gleeC
Thought and wit and melodyC
Mighty merry made his wayD
Labor's toil or battle frayD
-
Enemies whom none could tellE
Lay in wait this foe to fellE
Found him waking all too starkF
Sought his sleeping hours to markF
Tried their skill bound him stillG
When he wakened they fared illG
Glad he forward strode firm pacedH
Full of power full of hasteH
-
Bare fields blossom 'neath his feetI
Commerce swells about his seatI
From his fire gleam thought rays brightJ
All things doubled are in mightJ
For the land law he plannedK
Keeps it guards with head and handK
Of all rue and error quitL
Crushing him who injures itL
-
Freedom's God is God of lightJ
Not the bondsman's god of frightJ
God of love and brotherhoodM
Springtime's hope and will for goodM
To earth's endsN
peaceO
He sendsN
Heed the words His law commendsN
'One your Lord and I am HeC
Have no other gods but Me '-
