Rhyme Scheme: A BCCD EFGH IJH KLM

to SA
-
The light lay in shreds across the bedB
only your waking could make it wholeC
resuming its costume of day its roleC
which seems to overnight get raggedD
-
Fate latent as weights in theaterE
curtainhems what soul is sewn hereF
to be rung down at last divestedG
of these disguises But if we areH
-
bared by such cloth as cries in thisI
lament for the sun's fragilityJ
would I dare now to shake you astirH
-
to drape over you my shadow whoseK
myth ex machina remains all mineL
mine and therefore torn from yoursM
