Epitaph Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCBCDEDEFAGAHCICJKJK LMLM

On Salathiel Peavy A Child of Queen Elizabeth's ChapelA
-
Weep with me all you that readB
This little storyC
And know for whom a tear you shedB
Death's self is sorryC
'Twas a child that so did thriveD
In grace and featureE
As Heaven and Nature seemed to striveD
Which owned the creatureE
Years he numbered scarce thirteenF
When Fates turned cruelA
Yet three filled zodiacs had he beenG
The stage's jewelA
And did act what now we moanH
Old men so dulyC
As sooth the Parcae thought him oneI
He played so trulyC
So by error to his fateJ
They all consentedK
But viewing him since alas too lateJ
They have repentedK
And have sought to give nw birthL
In baths to steep himM
But being so much too good for earthL
Heaven vows to keep himM
