In France Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDD EEFF GGAA

The poplars in the fields of FranceA
Are golden ladies come to danceA
But yet to see them there is noneB
But I and the September sunB
-
The girl who in their shadow sitsC
Can only see the sock she knitsC
Her dog is watching all the dayD
That not a cow shall go astrayD
-
The leisurely contented cowsE
Can only see the earth they browseE
Their piebald bodies through the grassF
With busy munching noses passF
-
Alone the sun and I beholdG
Processions crowned with shining goldG
The poplars in the fields of FranceA
Like glorious ladies come to danceA
