It was time for the meetA
But He would never walk aloneB
Except with His father He must beC
Took with Him three of His best friendsD
So mortals could bear witnessE
To the glory that awaits at the endF
Family did not reverence HimG
Friends did not believe HimG
People only saw another manH
A prophet perhapsI
but nothing moreJ
Say what different is heC
From those before HimG
He is flesh and bloodK
Just like the rest of usE
If He was born out of royaltyC
Then maybe He truly is a kingL
But He came out of NazarethM
Born in the dark and in a mangerN
But the Son of Man never shiftedK
His gaze away from the awaiting gloryC
A glory so bright and everlastingL
That only in death it could be revealedO
The son of Man was then seenP
Here on earth standing with saintsQ
Moses Elijah powerful men of oldR
One had water obey his voiceS
The other fire runs and does his biddingL
How on earth could this beC
The three friends thought to themselvesT
This cannot be a mere mortalU
We truly have wined and dinedV
With none but GOD himselfW
