Every day I moved from one realm to another,
further into the pit I went and didn't bother,
I have crossed many seas finally at the border,
it was then I realized death was closer;
I that at one time didn't heed the shouts of my father,
but now seek I his voice to grow even louder;
before the king stood I expecting my fate,
my deeds recounted before my eyes and into my ears,
every secret thing in life all revealed there;
all I could render was pleas of grace and cries of mercy;
my works soiled and as rags were;
but the king of mercy forever abides,
He forsakes not his children no matter how sinful,
he is a GOD merciful and faithful,
and granted HE I life anew and joy in abundance.
