as I watched feet nailed to the ground | P |

unfolded wings and flew like gulls | R |
An old German in a green Homburg | S |
sang lieder Mein Herz ist m de | T |
In a garden in Pasadena my father | U |
posed in Navy whites while overhead | M |
silver dirigibles moved like great whales | V |
And in the narrowing tunnel | B |
of the dream s end I flew down | W |
onto the iron red road | X |
of my grandfather s farm | Y |
There was a white rail fence | Z |
In the green meadow beyond | A2 |
