Az Mo Never Poems

  • 1.
Woke up with an empty feeling,
    Missing you in my surrounding.
In my bed I kept on wishing,
    Hoping I'd never stop dreaming.
  • 2.
    I know we've come a long way,
I know I'm no longer a part of you.
Yet I remember like it was yesterday,
    Precious words that were few.
  • 3.
    When I woke up
    Encircled by light,
    Never have I seen
    Anything so bright.
  • 4.
I miss the taste of wine,
    Cakes with cherries on top.
I miss the dust on a line
    Which never seemed enough.
  • 5.
    You are my poison
    That keeps me alive,
    From all the nonsense
    This world subscribes.
  • 6.
Promises I've made I shall always keep,
From the day we made our first toast.
Now, months and it still aches so deep,
For you're the one I still love the most.
  • 7.
I am no saint nor insane,
I am human only by name.
    I weep, I laugh, I am humane,
I feel both pleasure and pain,
  • 8.
    Time and time again,
    I'm taken down memory lane,
    Where things remain the same,
Where there's beauty even in pain.
  • 9.
I miss the distant sounds of crickets,
    The melody formed by hummingbirds.
    Nature's whispers, such calming voices,
The water dripping towards my eardrums

Isaac Watts Poem
Psalm Iii: My God, How Many Are My Fears
 by Isaac Watts

My God, how many are my fears!
How fast my foes increase!
Conspiring my eternal death,
They break my present peace.

The lying tempter would persuade
There's no relief from heaven;
And all my swelling sins appear
