long days and short nights | G |

i want to set bonfires | H |
on midsummer nights | G |
to boost the sun's energy | I |
for the rest of the season | J |
and guarantee harvest for the fall | K |

i long to be a promoted viking | L |
long back then when sibling still | M |
referred to anyone related to me | I |

when i would summon | J |
my brave brothers and sisters | H |
to meet and discuss legal matters | H |
and resolve disputes | N |

but i love that i can still sip | O |
wine glasses of solace | P |
in winter's solstices | D |

i can perform a ceremonial | Q |
sun dance around a tree while | R |
proudly wearing symbolic hues | S |

and remember the sun is a mixture | A |
of all colors mixed together | A |
that appear to my eyes as white | T |

i love to see flowers | H |
wearing themselves | U |

in their hair and homes | V |
are decorated with garlands | V |
