i seek solace in winterA
before summer knocksB
on my doors with herA
arthritic knucklesC
-
i long for summer solsticeD
when the sol stands stitiumE
and the June twenties birthF
long days and short nightsG
-
i want to set bonfiresH
on midsummer nightsG
to boost the sun's energyI
for the rest of the seasonJ
and guarantee harvest for the fallK
-
i long to be a promoted vikingL
long back then when sibling stillM
referred to anyone related to meI
-
when i would summonJ
my brave brothers and sistersH
to meet and discuss legal mattersH
and resolve disputesN
-
but i love that i can still sipO
wine glasses of solaceP
in winter's solsticesD
-
i can perform a ceremonialQ
sun dance around a tree whileR
proudly wearing symbolic huesS
-
and remember the sun is a mixtureA
of all colors mixed togetherA
that appear to my eyes as whiteT
-
i love to see flowersH
wearing themselvesU
women wearing flowersH
in their hair and homesV
are decorated with garlandsV
-
my dream is one dayW
i stand at the center of the earthF
and watch the beauty of diversityI
when two hemispheres comeE
closest to be the sameE
