Safe Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF

Wild wintry wind storm through the nightA
Dash the black clouds against the skyB
Hiss through the billows seething whiteA
Fling the rock surf in spray on highB
-
Hurl the high seas on harbour barsC
Madden them with thy havock shriekD
Against the crimson beacon starsC
Thy rage no more can make me weakD
-
The ship rides safely in the bayE
The ship that held my hope in herF
Whirl on wild wind in thy wild frayE
We hear our whispers through the stirF
