Veneta Marina Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCBA ADEEDA

The masts rise white to the starsA
White on the night of the skyB
Out of the water's nightC
And the stars lean down to them whiteC
Ah how the stars seem nighB
How far away are the starsA
-
And I too under the starsA
Alone with the night againD
And the water's monotoneE
I and the night aloneE
And the world and the ways of menD
Farther from me than the starsA
