The Fisher's Widow Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHAH

The boats go out and the boats come inA
Under the wintry skyB
And the rain and foam are white in the windC
And the white gulls cryB
-
She sees the sea when the wind is wildD
Swept by a windy rainE
And her heart's a weary of sea and landF
As the long days waneE
-
She sees the torn sails fly in the foamG
Broad on the sky line grayH
And the boats go out and the boats come inA
But there's one awayH
