Montserrat Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAAB CDCCD EFEEF GHIGH

Peace waits among the hillsA
I have drunk peaceB
Here where the blue air fillsA
The great cup of the hillsA
And fills with peaceB
-
Between the earth and skyC
I have seen the earthD
Like a dark cloud go byC
And fade out of the skyC
There was no more earthD
-
Here where the Holy GraalE
Brought secret lightF
Once from beyond the veilE
I seeing no Holy GraalE
See divine lightF
-
Light fills the hills with GodG
Wind with his breathH
And here in his abodeI
Light wind and air praise GodG
And this poor breathH
