In The Temple Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAABCCCCB DEEEFGGGGF

When Lilian comes I scarcely knowA
If Winter wraps the world in snowA
Or if 'tis Summer strikes a glowA
The fountain in the court belowA
When Lilian comesB
Her flower like eyes her soft lips bringC
The warmth and welcome of the SpringC
And round my room a fairy ringC
See violets violets blossomingC
When Lilion comesB
-
When Lilian goes I hear againD
The infinite despair of rainE
Drip on my darkening window paneE
The tears of Winter on the waneE
When Lilian goesF
Yet still about my lonely roomG
The visionary violets bloomG
And with her presence still perfumeG
The tedious page that I resumeG
When Lilian goesF
