In The Stalls Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABA CDCDC EFEFE AGAGA

My life is like a music hallA
Where in the impotence of rageB
Chained by enchantment to my stallA
I see myself upon the stageB
Dance to amuse a music hallA
-
'Tis I that smoke this cigaretteC
Lounge here and laugh for vacancyD
And watch the dancers turn and yetC
It is my very self I seeD
Across the cloudy cigaretteC
-
My very self that turns and tripsE
Painted pathetically gayF
An empty song upon the lipsE
In make believe of holidayF
I I this thing that turns and tripsE
-
The light flares in the music hallA
The light the sound that weary usG
Hour follows hour I count them allA
Lagging and loud and riotousG
My life is like a music hallA
