Degrees Of Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBB AABBB AABBB

When your eyes opened to mine eyesA
Without desire without surpriseA
I knew your soul awoke to seeB
All dreams foretold but could not beB
Yet loving me not loving meB
-
When your eyes drooped before mine eyesA
As though some secret made them wiseA
Some wisdom veiled them secretlyB
I knew your heart began to beB
In love with love in love with meB
-
When your eyes tawned against mine eyesA
With beaten hunger and with criesA
In bitter pride's humilityB
Love wholly mine had come to beB
Hatred of love for loving meB
