Bianca Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBA CCDDC EEFFE GGHHG IJKKI LLMML NNMMN

Her cheeks are hot her cheeks are whiteA
The white girl hardly breathes to nightA
So faint the pulses come and goB
That waken to a smouldering glowB
The morbid faintness of her whiteA
-
What drowsing heats of sense desireC
Longing and languorous the fireC
Of what white ashes subtly meshD
The fascination of her fleshD
Into a breathing web of fireC
-
Only her eyes only her mouthE
Live in the agony of drouthE
Athirst for that which may not beF
The desert of virginityF
Aches in the hotness of her mouthE
-
I take her hands into my handsG
Silently and she understandsG
I set my lips upon her lipsH
Shuddering to her finger tipsH
She strains my hands within her handsG
-
I set my lips on hers they closeI
Into a false and phantom roseJ
Upon her thirsting lips I rainK
A flood of kisses and in vainK
Her lips inexorably closeI
-
Through her closed lips that cling to mineL
Her hands that hold me and entwineL
Her body that abondoned liesM
Rigid with sterile ecstasiesM
A shiver knits her flesh to mineL
-
Life sucks into a mist remoteN
Her fainting lips her throbbing throatN
Her lips that open to my lipsM
And hot against her finger tipsM
The pulses leaping in her throatN
